While leafing through the family photo album, I saw myself when I was at kindergarten preparing my mini press to make some grape juice with my girlfriends.
Then, in primary school, happy to help on harvest Wednesdays, with my little pruning shear.
As a teenager, I was proud to go to the cellar on weekends for vinification.
As a grown-up, in high school, I took advantage of school and summer holidays to look after the vines and water the young plants.
Even then, I dreamed of working in our family business.
For me it was obvious, I have always loved my heritage, my village and my vineyards. I am very motivated to make it prosper!
I am now in charge of the estate l'Or de Line, a name that was chosen by my parents in reference to my first name : I am Laureline.
I am the 5th generation of winegrowers (on my father's and mother's side) and I hope I won't be the last. But only time will tell!
My 22 ac estate in Châteauneuf du Pape was created by my mother and father: Paule and Gérard Jacumin from vineyards belonging to both of them. That's a real family business !
We have been organic since 2009. In the family, we eat organic, we drink organic and we always try to respect our environment. So producing organic was totally normal. My objective is to continue in this perspective of protecting customers, employees, nature and its environment. I am convinced that the future of my generation lies in this process!
