20% Grenache Blanc
Age of the vines:
The Roussanne vines are 7 years old, so still young but the vines of Grenache, Clairette and Bourboulenc are much older with 30 years of age in average.
Geographic situation and type of soil:
Located in the north of the appellation, between the villages of Courthezon, Orange and Chateauneuf du Pape, on alluvial terraces composed of rounded pebbles mixed with sandy red clay.
Methods of Vinification:
Direct pressing plus skin maceration for the Roussanne grapes.
Fermentation at low temperatures and ageing for at least 3 months in stainless steel tanks.
Served at 8°C
Appearance: Bright golden yellow
Nose: Bouquet of acacia flowers, roasted almonds and apricots.
Palate: Produced from grapes picked at perfect maturation, this subtle wine yet powerful has long lasting aromas and a nice freshness on the finish.
