The Syndicat des Vignerons de Châteauneuf-du-Pape organized its 55th Saint-Marc Wine Competition, which involved the best wines of the appellation.
The competition covered 8 categories with "Classic Cuvées" and "Special Cuvées" with white and red Châteauneuf-du-Pape from the last harvest (2020), the vintage 2019 and 2018 as well as the 2021 whites.
The prizes for the competition were presented on Tuesday, July 12th at the cellar of the Château des Papes in Châteauneuf-du-Pape by Jeb Dunnuck, famous American wine critic, Jessica Payeras, director of the Syndicat des vignerons de Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Julien Cellier representative of the Mairie of Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
A convivial dinner followed this award ceremony.
