A purple dress with a rather discreet intensity. A nose of remarkable aromatic intensity, and eminently complex. The first scent announces the mirabelle plum, plum, blood oranges, dried roses, but also, sandalwood, sweet notes of blond tobacco, sage and garrigue. On the palate, serious complexity is required: first, a full bouquet of black fruit (blackcurrant, black cherry, fig, blackberry, blueberry), then notes of zan, white and black pepper mixed, we find the garrigue and the mirabelle plum brandy. The tannins are silky and subtle , the texture on the palate is also complex, since the chewiness is indisputable while offering a fine and mellow velvety texture. Finally, the proposed finish is sweet and languorous, and offers an endless aromatic persistence. This cuvée is of singular nobility and faithfully reveals the authenticity of its terroir. A great cuvee of Châteauneuf du Pape!
