2025 Concours Général Agricole Winners – Rhône Valley Wine Competition

From February 22 to March 2, 2025, the Concours Général Agricole once again celebrated the excellence of French terroir products.

Established in 1870 and organized under the authority of the Ministry of Agriculture and the CENECA, this prestigious competition annually rewards the finest French agricultural products in three categories: Animals, Products, and Judging by Young Professionals. As part of the Salon de l’Agriculture, the Product Competition highlights the best wines and regional specialties, ensuring quality and official recognition. The selection process includes sampling directly from producers, regional pre-selections, and tastings conducted by 6,000 independent judges. The gold, silver, and bronze medals, symbolized by an oak leaf, are a registered trademark with the INPI.

This year, 12 wines from the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation were awarded :

  • 6 gold medals
  • 6 silver medals

Among them are 5 reds from 2022, 5 reds from 2023, and 2 whites from 2023.
