A NEW WAY TO TASTE: AN INTRODUCTION TO SENSORY TASTING

Discovering a wine means mobilizing all your senses and understanding its terroir of origin.

We suggest you combine these two aspects during an original tasting of Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines.

Set off to discover the diversity of our terroirs and learn how to detect the subtleties of each soil and their impact on the unique character of our wines.*

Using a taste-vin, focus on the wine mouthfeel and develop your ability to identify and describe your sensations. Use a set of fabrics with different textures (Le Toucher du Vin®, developed by Cyrille TOTA), to help you better understand the tannins and connect them with the terroirs.

Workshop available for a minimum of 8 people.

*The diversity of our terroirs inspired the publication of a book by Georges Truc, famous oenologist & geologist: Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Histoire Géologique & Naissance des Terroirs.

This new venue, spearheaded by the winemakers of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape syndicate, revolves around the promotion of terroirs, wines, and above all, those who create them. It brings together various wine tourism activities within dedicated spaces for both the general public and professionals: tasting workshops, training sessions, events, temporary and permanent exhibitions, including an unparalleled collection of tasting glasses.

In the long run, a wine bar will complement the experience, emphasizing learning and discovery through hands-on practice!
