The estate owned 22 acres of the appellation Chateauneuf-du-Pape shared into 15 vineyards, 11 varietals – including 5 white. The age of the vines are from 10 years for a young white bourboulenc ( varietal ) to 80 years for a respectable old black grenache. It is also a small vineyard of Vin de Pays de syrah, located at the border of the appellation Chateauneuf-du-Pape.
It is grown as organic vineyard from 2009. That means that, since 2009, I use no more chemical pesticides, neither weed killer, nor not organic fertilizer
My estate is controled by the team of the Agricultural Chamber : Olivier Jacquet, Marie Véronique Arigoni, Garance Marcantoni et Eric l'Helgoualch, THE specialists of organic farming for South East of France. So, all year round, observations, countings are made to avoid any useless spreading and thus any pollution. It is as well with this team as we make expériementations in the French national experimentation Ecophyto.
