The viticulture of tomorrow begins today!
On January 18 and 19, more than 150 participants gathered for the second edition of the Vineyard and Biodiversity symposium at the Palais des Papes in Avignon.
Two days of conferences led by French and international speakers: Laetitia ALLEMAND, Léo MARIANI, Régis AMBROISE, Verena WELLER, Valérie LEMPEREUR, Eglantine THIERY, Simon RICARD, Alain CANET, Delphine SUZOR, Serge GADOUM, Prof. Dr. Armin BISCHOFF, Dr. Olga BARBOSA, Dr. Johanna DÖRING, Prof. Marc-André SELOSSE, and Jean François AGUT.
Conceived by Birte Jantzen and co-organized by the Maison des Vignerons de Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the symposium is designed as an open and cross-disciplinary dialogue between science and the world of wine. It is based on the sharing of knowledge, highlighting both science and practical experience, while exploring new paths and perspectives. It is intended for winemakers, appellations, unions, and interprofessions, wine professionals, institutions, bodies, and organizations working for biodiversity, as well as scientists, researchers, and students related to the subject.
Thanks to our partners for making this project for the viticulture of tomorrow possible.
