CHÂTEAU MONT-REDON, A HISTORIC ESTATE OF CHÂTEAUNEUF-DU-PAPE
Château Mont-Redon is one of the historic estates of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. For four generations, the Abeille-Fabre family has cultivated an exceptional terroir with the same commitment: to reveal its full potential through wines renowned for their elegance, depth and outstanding ageing potential.
While the estate was acquired by Henri Plantin in 1923, the first vines at Mont-Redon date back to Antiquity.
The vineyard, planted in a single block, brings together the appellation’s three emblematic terroirs: rolled pebbles, safres (sandy soils) and limestone. This remarkable diversity is the foundation of the consistency and complexity of our wines.
The Abeille-Fabre family is also established in several of the Southern Rhône Valley’s leading appellations: Lirac, Vacqueyras, Cairanne, Côtes du Rhône and Gigondas.
