In Provence, for 5 generations, at the foot of the Uchaux Massif and Mont Ventoux a familial estate invites you to discover its vineyard. Today Château Simian consists of 25 hectares of vines: 5,8 of AOC Châteauneuf du Pape, 10 of AOC Massif d’Uchaux and AOC Côtes du Rhône, and 9 of Vin de Pays.

The vineyard’s present owner, Jean-Pierre Serguier, in a constant search for quality, makes every effort to work in perfect harmony with nature.

In 2008, we began to take an organic and bio-dynamic approach to the running of the vineyard: wherever possible, interventions are made taking into account cosmic cycles and the rhythms of nature. Three years are required for the conversion to organic production, which means that 2011 will be the first vintage to carry the distinction « organic » and “Biodynamic” too.

This approach, along with the judicious choice of 18 noble grape varieties, and the savoir-faire of the winemaker, contributes to the wines’ exceptional quality: balanced, rich in colour and aroma, with silky tannins.
